Uoredoms & 7 VO 7 - live at 7 Bo 7 Shibuya On Air East 7-7-01

OK, so I found these files either on Napster or Soulseek way back in '02ish. The thing is, the info file refers to 7 Vo 7, but the title of the mp3 says Uoredoms... so I'm not sure which set this is! Its a very trippy, tribal, plodding, echoing jam, with Eye chanting spacy vocals over what sounds like sitar, guitar and Yoshimi's pummeling drums.. It is an audience recording, and lasts a little over 30 minutes, and sounds pretty good, but has that muffled/distant quality that you would expect from an AUD recording.

Also featured were a version of UOREDOMS (EYE, YOSHIMI, ATR), PSYCHO BABA, WOODMAN and ANARCHY 7, and SUN PM 0:00 (which included ATR at the time)"


Also included in the .rar is a very short, small .rm clip of 7 Vo 7 playing at Shibuya Club Quattro on 2001-11-6 that was shown on Japan's Viewsic TV station.

DJ Eye (Boredoms) various trance-techno sets '00-'02!

I found several DJ sets by Yamatsuka Eye from Boredoms on the web back in the early '00s, available as direct downloads from a couple of obscure Japanese websites that have long since gone offline. These sets were recorded at Japanese trance parties in '02, and what impresses me the most about them is that it shows Eye's incredible versatility as a performer... he is actually a very accomplished house/techno DJ, and constructs excellent sets of deep house, classic techno, tribal and ethnic-sounding trance tracks! I only wish I had setlists for these, although they do come with original info files and promo flyers for the events!

OOIOO - live in Japan 8-22-99 and 12-25-96

I found these two live OOIOO sets on Napster way back in '00-'01, with no further information than the dates and "live in Japan". They are both audience recordings as far as I can tell, but very clear and listenable, with no tape hiss or distortion, just a slightly distant sound. Each set is just over 30 minutes long!
